The University of Eastern Finland/Institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition is responsible for conducting two randomised controlled dietary interventions with fermented foods, either plant-based dairy or meat alternatives. These interventions will investigate and gather a deep understanding of the gut-related mechanisms of action underlying the impact of fermented foods on CMD risk.
