The HealthFerm project is governed through a multilayer structure that includes all partners involved to different extents in the General Assembly, a Steering Committee, a Management Team, and the Coordinator. The management and governance structure ensures:
support for individual partners for the achievement of project objectives,
progress monitoring and control on work package level,
coordination of project activities,
implementation of quality control mechanisms by defining appropriate project standards,
targeted dissemination of knowledge.

The Coordinator
The Coordinator is the legal entity acting as the intermediary between all partners and the European Commission.
The Management Team
The Management Team is the Consortium Body in charge of project management including monitoring and organisation.
The Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is the supervisory body for the execution of HealthFerm and oversees all work package activities assuring timely and high-quality attainment of all set objectives. It is accountable and report to the General Assembly.
The General Assembly
The General Assembly is the ultimate decision-making body of the consortium and includes at least one representative of all project partners.
The Data Management Committee
The Data Management Committee is an independent committee that will be responsible for data management and quality assurance. The committee governs the overall strategy for data collection, curation, storage, and access according to legislations and directives within EU, as well as preservation after the end of the project.
The External Experts Panel and ethics advisor
The External Experts Panel performs external reviews and is composed to represent the broad scope of the project. The external independent ethics advisor will be consulted for identified ethics issues.
The Communication Committee
The Communication Committee plays a key role in guiding the external communication activities, including content development and quality assurance of all communication to specific target groups, such as the scientific community, regulatory bodies and the general public, among others.
